today we have added the possibility for our users to login to View Docs Online with their Facebook account. What is the benefit? If you upload documents while you are logged in, then you will be able to see all of them in a dedicated section called “My documents”: to see this section you need to click on the link “My docs” present in the homepage. For more details have a look here.
Please note that the login is an optional step: you can still use View Docs Online as an anonymous guest.
in the last period we have seen a great increase of visitors on View Docs Online and we are delighted to see that many people use our service to quickly view, comment and share several types of documents.
To help our users to publish documents directly on their websites, we have just added the possibility to embed documents using iframes; all is needed to do is to click on the “Embed” button and copy the first section of the tooltip into a webpage.
The document will be displayed in the webpage without any kind of advertisement: we hope you will like this new opportunity, give it a try!
here is the big news I was mentioning in the last post: we are happy to announce that View Docs Online has been included into the famous Firefox addon “Open IT Online” (downloaded more than 1 million of times).
Thanks to Open IT Online 2.5, Firefox users will be able to use View Docs Online in a more integrated way: read the news.
We are just one month after the lunch of View Docs Online and we have already had many articles from different sites on different countries…it’s amazing how fast news get spread around the globe. A google search on “view docs online” gives almost 10 thousands results.
Soon there will be a great news for all our users…stay tuned
